BQ27Z561-R2-DEVICE-FW: Reading wrong CHEM-ID

The Ra table isn't conclusive evidence for a particular ChemID if the history of charge/discharge cycles isn't known. It's possible to have a Ra table that's close or equal between two different ChemIDs.

If the gauge reports 1210 but an Ra table that looks similar to 2040 then it could be that the gauge learned the Ra table for 1210 during regular use or the Ra table itself was copied from a 2040 ChemID without changing the 1210 label.

Please list the exact steps that were taken to create the Golden Image.

That is the standard procedur for all Gauges that we have in use.

I cross checked the OCV tables from your fs file. They are for ChemID 1210. Your resistance values are not the default values for 1210 but some of them (for high levels of charge) match the ones from 2040.

It looks like a learning cycle was done with ChemID 2040 and then the Ra table was exported via a gg file and re-imported to a gauge that was programmed for ChemID 1210, which will not work.

Programming a gauge with the gg file will not update the ChemID. Please use the Golden Image (.df.fs or .bq.fs or .srec) to make sure the whole gauge will be programmed with every parameter, including the ChemID. A gg file doesn't contain the ChemID so this must not be used in lieu of an actual Golden Image.
