Hi support Team,

My customers would like to know how much derating is taken against the absolute rating of Vin. In other words, they want to know the true absolute rating of Vin without derating. Can you provide it? Could you please give me your opinion?

I suppose TI cannot provide any information on operating at voltages above the absolute rating in the data sheet.

    Hi Taito!

    Yes, we can not provide this information because of confidential. What kind of problem does customer encounter, so that they need this information? Generally, just follow the schematic and layout of EVM, and input voltage do not exceed the ABS, converter can operate safely.
