Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24070,
It looks like for Vin=5V, the BQ24070 would have been more appropriate. looking at the data sheet, if Vin < Vout_reg, then Vin is connected to Vout through a PFET.
Does that mean, if we use a BQ24071 (more available) with an input voltage of 5 volts, our Vout will be Vin minus some drop from the PFET?
