Hey , due to component limitation I want to use bq24085 instead of bq24086 , gap is the NTC

as board fits for bq24086. my schematics are as follows:

1. NTC will be not assembled

2. RT1 - will be not assembled

3. What is the allowed resistance of RT2? can it be 10KOHm or it should be jumper to ground?

Hello Nir,

In the EVM schematic a 1Mohm pulldown is used for /CE to enable the IC, I would recommend going with that: www.ti.com/.../sluu305

any risk using other resistance?

is a jumper resistor may impact the perfromance?

Hi Nir,

It should be OK to use 10K or 0ohm. I am thinking that in-rush current during startup would be lower with the 1Mohm.
