Hi team

Could you help check if TPS1HC100-Q1 is damaged if a continuous 36V DC is applied to VBB pin? 

D/S give a maximum 36V load dump voltage and it should be a transient event.

    Hi Shawn,

    Yes. As you pointed out in the datasheet, the 36V only can be applied as pulse specified in ISO 16750. Any duration longer than that could potentially damage the device. 28V is max continuous VBB voltage the device can support.
