TLV751: LDO suggestion

Hi team,

My name is Simeon Aleksandrov, I am an FAE intern at TI BeNeLux.

We are searching for an LDO for 5V0 Vin to Vout 3V3 @ 500mA.
Key requirements:

  • High PSSR
  • Good thermal performance
  • Low cost

I have already outlined a couple of parts:

  • TLV751
  • TLV755P
  • TLV758P
  • TPS7A90

Would you agree with the suggestions I have outlined here? Have I missed a part that would be better suited for these specs?

I would appreciate some feedback here!

    I would agree with these suggestions. I put a chart with more specs to compare about these. Two things that I would like to note, usually if PSRR is important noise is also important for clean rails, because of this I would recommend the TPS7A90. Additionally, if thermals are an issue I would recommend looking at WSON packages of these parts, because these have thermal pads which help make them more thermally efficient.

    I also forgot to mention the TLV751 is a dual LDO meaning two outputs so you likely will want to choose one of the others.
