Can a BQ79631-Q1 device be used as a master for the daisy chained BQ79612/14/16 device?
Hi,
Do you mean can the BQ79631-Q1 be used a bridge device between the MCU and daisy chained BQ79612/14/16? Yes, the '631 uses the same daisy-chain protocol as '612/'614/'616.
Thanks,
Geoff
Yeah, and one more query, when acting as a bridge device can BQ79631-Q1 operate relays and cotactors in case of over current, undercurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage events?
Hi,
The feature set of '631 does not change when acting as a bridge device. The GPIOs can still be configured to drive relays if desired.
Thanks,
Geoff
