Hello,

My customer want to charge 1.2v NI-MH (1000mah) AAA three cell in series.

Does is suitable for New Design with bq2000c? Do you have reference or application note?

If not then which is better then bq2002C with cost effective?

Hi,

For NiMH battery, we have a new charger BQ25172 which supports this chemistry.

Hello Jing,

Do you have 1.2A charger current IC, BQ25172 is 0.8A ,too small for battery capacity.

Hi,

For >0.8A, we have would recommend to use a switching charger with the concept in the app note below. BQ24105 is the non-automotive version of BQ24105-Q1.
