TPS55288: The load ability issue of TPS55288

1.During we debug the tps55288 , the output will be shutted down when the load current exceed 100mA.

2.We turn off all the protect functions by the registers , but the output is still shutted down when the load current exceed 100mA.

Please help to analysis this issue.

Thank you for your quick response.

My design goals are as follows:

input voltage : 12V

output voltage range :0.8-22V

max output current : 5A.

Hi Delmore,

The schematic is good, but the layout is poor. What about the no load condition, is Vout the target value?

Also, have you check the Iout_limit regeister?

This problem has been solved. It is caused by power supply protection. Thank you for your help
