TPS563208: Help with overcoming negative Inductor current

Part Number: TPS563208

When testing the controller for 12V Input to 5V, 1A output I noticed negative Inductor current till 0.6 - 0.7 A output current load. I have used the typical values of the Inductor (3.3uH) and output Capacitor (10uF+10uF+0.1uF) that was mentioned in the datasheet. How do I overcome this and also how can I find Bandwidth of the controller?
Thanks.

  • Hi Anjan,

based on calculation of your application value, 0.6A negative inductor current makes sense. it match with calculation value. this negative current don't have any effect on your application. why do you want to overcome this?
