Part Number: BQ51003
This is Sasaki @Pananonic Japan.
Currently, we are developing a product with BQ51003.But, there is a phenomenon that this device is destroyed when placed on a Qi charger.
A peak voltage of about 30V is input from the Qi receiving coil, and I presume that this is destroying the synchronous rectifier FET.
As a countermeasure, I understand that this device has a clamp function.
Please briefly explain this function.
I would especially like to know the relationship between AC1, CLAMP1, BOOT1 and RECT.
The reason is that we have connected our own rectifier circuit to the BOOT1 pin(connect the anode of the diode to BOOT1, and connect a 10uF capacitor between the cathode and GND), which is the cause of the destruction of the IC. I understand.Changing the connection of our original rectifier circuit from BOOT1 to COIL1 solves the IC destruction.
However, I do not know why the destruction is resolved, so I would like to know the relationship between AC1, CLAMP1, BOOT1, and RECT.
Please answer in ASAP.
