The output current is about 15A, so I'm thinking of setting the overcurrent detection threshold to 20A or higher.
Should I calculate the threshold with Rds(on) = 1.6 to 1.7mΩ as described in the datasheet?
The datasheet says the on-resistance of the internal MOSFET is 2.2mΩ (typ) at 25°C.
Applying this will result in a lower overcurrent threshold, and if the internal MOSFET becomes hot, overcurrent will be detected at even lower current.
I'm concerned about overcurrent being detected at an output current lower than expected.
