We recommend using the TPS65987D for new designs as the TPS65981 is an old device. For this issue though, which GUI Tool version are you using?

we are using TPS65981_2_6_7_8 Application Customization 6.1.2

Hi Vetrivelan,

As Hari said, the TPS65981 is an older device and is only supported for PD2.0 Compliance, which is no longer certified by USB-IF(click here for more information regarding PD2.0 vs PD3.0). The current version for that GUI is version 6.1.3 however the base FW for 981 hasn't changed. GPIOs can be toggled to be internally pulled-up/down as well as direct/inverted event in the GUI on the I/O config.
