LM5104: simulation stop between 60-65ms

Part Number: LM5104

Hello Team,

I'm posting on behalf of my customer. Please see the inquiry below:

Basically we work with inverter circuit using LM5104 driver IC.
Now At the output of LC filter I got the sine wave as expected but while we simulate this circuit with 100ms or more simulation time it will stop in between 60-65ms and show the error message as I have already share the error message with you.
So please help us to simulate whole circuit with more than 60-65ms simulation time.

Regards,
Renan
  • Hello Renan,

I was able to get it to converge! Here are some traces:

Voltage and current (ignore the scale it is mA and I was trying to get them on a similar scale). To do it, I changed these values in the convergence options:

These settings make the convergence requirements less strict, but do reduce accuracy somewhat. It is probably okay for this scale though, but I do want to let you know that.

This is a bit superstitious, but I also plotted the voltage as it was simulating to avoid the too many data points error. I'm not sure if that actually helps at all though. Please let me know if it doesn't work for your customer.

    Thanks,

    Alex M
