  • Hello Lawrence,

Can you explain the exact steps taken and what is being observed?

Are you able to communicate successfully before programming and after it becomes unresponsive? If this is the case it is likely the gauge may have had an issue during programming and become bricked. If the power is temporarily lost while programming this will happen.

Are you able to recover the gauge?

    Sincerely,

    Wyatt Keller

  • Hi, Wyatt

1.Can you explain the exact steps taken and what is being observed?

when we program the bmu with EV2300 with Battery management studio it will break off and we try again and again it  also can't be program

2.Are you able to communicate successfully before programming and after it becomes unresponsive?

yes,if not communicate successfully it will has reminded I2C not connect.

3.If this is the case it is likely the gauge may have had an issue during programming and become bricked. If the power is temporarily lost while programming this will happen.

No ,the power is always normally

Are you able to recover the gauge?

the  chip need reball maybe we can't do it

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

should we dump log.file or or screenshot?

    if any, Please advise me.

    Thanks,

    Best regards,

    Lawrence

  • Hello Lawrence,

If the gauge is programmed and after programming becomes unresponsive it is most likely bricked from bad programming. The only way to recover this is if the gauge is not sent to firmware mode after programming, you can attempt to program it again, if it is sent to firmware mode with bad programming it is not recoverable unless you can get it back into ROM mode.

    Sincerely,
