UC2872: Is there any Ballast control IC such as IR2156 and FAN7532?

Hi Team, 

My customer is looking for Ballast control IC such as IR2156 and FAN7532 since they are EOLed. 

I found UC2872 as close device but seems quite old. 

Can UC2872 still be used and is there other option here?
