TPS709: Maximum IN pin current in shutdown

Part Number: TPS709

Hi team,

Could you let me know the maximum IN pin current in shutdown for TPS70950?

From Figure 6-17, the maximum ground pin current in shutdown looks like ~250nA.

In this thread, it is mentioned that EN pin current can be up to 600nA at high temperature.

Also, it is discussed that the shutdown current at IN pin will be the sum of ground and EN pin current in this thread.

So, can the maximum IN pin current at shutdown be estimated as 250nA + 600nA = 850nA?

Regards,

Itoh

  • Hi Itoh-san,

Figure 6-17 only shows typical data so it does not represent maximum values. From the char data the shutdown current can also be up to 600nA at high (i.e. 125C) or low (i.e. -40C) temperatures. So a better worst-case estimate would be about 1.2uA across the full temperature range.

    Regards,

    Nick
