BQ24040: Temperature Protection Question

Hi Team,

Customer design BQ24040 and do the high and low temperature protection test. it is close to MP and urgent.

customer will monitor Cell surface temperature.

for 45℃ max case, 

1. the protection is active while  cell surface reach 34.2℃.

2. the whole system max operation temp. is 40℃, it will protect earlier at 34.2℃  before 40℃.

for 0℃ min case

1. the system temperature is not active or make charging current smaller while the cell surface reach -20℃. 

IC BQ2040 datasheet shows that its can control to stop charging under the 0 degree as below,

but it’s seem like not happen its function, even under -20 degree, is still not any stop charging effect.

Would you please review the max and min temperature case and provide your comment?
