LMG1210:Component selection

Part Number: LMG1210
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMG1020, , LMG1205

Class D amplifiers are currently designed to operate at 15MHz, but the LMG1210 is out of stock. Is the LMG1020 feasible, or can you recommend some components that are in stock?

  • Hi Jia-Hua,

Thank you for your question. LMG1020 is actually a low side driver, whereas LMG1210 is a half-bridge driver. If you are looking for an alternative for a half-bridge driver for GaN, we also have the LMG1205 half-bridge driver. However, it does have different pinout/package and specs compared to LMG1210, so I recommend reviewing the datasheet to see if it meets your needs. Some of the main differences are that LMG1205 has an internal bootstrap diode, it doesn't have EN pin, no dead-time feature, no internal voltage regulator and the recommended HS range is -5V to 90V (as opposed to LMG1210 with a range of -200V to 200V).

    Best regards,

    Leslie
