UC1834-SP: Leakage current of fault alert pin

Hi,

The datasheet does not specify the leakage current of the open collector output. Can I get a rough estimate for the worst case value for the leakage current over temperature? UC1901-SP has a similar status pin with a maximum specification for the open collector leakage current of 5uA. Is this section similar to the one in UC1834?

Hey Nandha,

There are at least two other leakage currents specified by the electrical characteristics over temperature.
If you want an estimate, using those numbers is your best bet.

Are you referring to the leakage currents of the driver section and the crowbar pins? These are for hefty devices with Ice at-least 10 times the capacity of the fault alert transistor. Can the requested leakage current be characterised for a batch of ICs?
