I'm also looking at the LM5070/71/72. On the face of it, these look as though one of these might be appropriate. Do you have a view on this?

Understood, but it's a question of availability. Nothing in the TPS range is available for a year, which is not viable. The LM5070 is available from stock, so I think it's the only way forward at this stage.

Actually, I do have one more question if you'd be so kind. My application is for a 5V isolated supply but all of the documentation I've seen describes either 3V3 isolated or 5V non-isolated. Is there a particular reason for this? We need to supply a USB port, so it has to be 5V isolated.

That, sadly, is confidential as I am bound by an NDA, but I can tell you that it is a significant player in the broadcast industry. Would it be possible to get some guidance from you on this design? My principal problem is time - we are significantly behind schedule and this has been made worse by the sudden increase in lead times on the TPS23750, which was my device of choice. I'd like to continue to use a TI device but I don't have a lot of time to make a choice. Let me know either way; I do understand your commercial constraints!

Thank you indeed! What is the most effective way of doing this? I have to update my schematic to accommodate the change of device but the circuit topology seems similar to the TPS23750 so this should not take long.
