Hello Lawrence,
The default firmware is at https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/sluc415
This firmware can be programmed using the bqEVSW and EV2300. The Pro screen of bqEVSW has the feature to program senc files.
Steps:
1. Check that you can communicate with BQ27530-G1 at I2C target address 0xAA(returned data should be valid)
2.Then at I2C target address 0xAA, write block 0x00 0x0F to memory address 0x00 to put it into programming mode.
3. Check that you can communicate at I2C target address 0x16 (data should be returned but will be random/invalid data)
4. Program the senc file
5. If step 4 succeeded with no error messages, then click the "Execute" button and restart bqEVSW, otherwise retry step 4 till it succeeds.
