UCC21750-Q1: The pin12 RDY signal of ucc21750 is abnormally pulled low by gatedrive

Part Number: UCC21750-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC21750

Under what conditions will the pin12rdy signal of ucc21750q1 be pulled down?

In my application, when both Vdd and VCC are normal, the RDY signal will occasionally be actively pulled down by the gateway. From my experience, it is caused by interference,

I would like to ask Ti engineers if you have encountered similar problems. Are there any recommended solutions?

  • Hi Xinchao,

Thanks for your interest in UCC21750 device. RDY signal will go low, mainly when the VCC/VDD supply goes below UVLO threshold.

It will be good to understand your board schematics and also the following signals measured close to device [with short ground loop], so that we understand the situation better.

Can you please share the following,

    1. Schematics of your application for the Gate driver

    2. Measurement of VCC, VDD, RDY and OUTL when you observe such behavior.

If you don't want to share the schematics in the public forum, you can share to us through email. Let me do a friend request to you, so that you can get my email id.

    Thanks

    Sasi
