TPS65982: How to use TPS65982 to output the "cable orientation" logic to control POL in TUSB546EVM?

Hi,

In the TUSB546EVM, GPIO2 from TPS65982 is connect to the POL signal line. May I know how to enable the PD controller to output the logic according to the orientation of the cable plugged to the connector?

Hi Dan,

You should be able to use either one of these events to detect based on CC1/CC2 orientation:
