  • Hi Yingchun,

This is the date code of the IC including the lot, production date, etc. It is mainly for TI internal use, in order to track the production lot in case if it is needed. This should not affect your application.  Please refer to the product datasheet in your design/application.

    Thanks,

    Youhao

  • Hi Yingchun,

I am asking this internally.  Please allow me some time.

    Thanks,

    Youhao

  • Hello Yingchun,

It looks like the label on the box is altered for some reason?

The important device marking to the end user is described in the package option addendum of the datasheet.

We cannot decode the rest of the characters for you at this time. This is internal information.

    Regards,
    Denislav

    1. Dear    sir

      • Thank you very much for your reply

Could you please help me check the specific meaning of the four letters   "AXLC"

      • Do any of the letters stand for Malaysian origin?Thank you very much

  • Hi Yingchun,

Please understand that the code is unique for lot traceability and it is only for TI internal use, and it is confidential.  However, we can confirm that these devices that you showed were produced in Malaysia.

    Best Regards,

    Youhao

  • Hi Yingchun,

I am getting help internally, and this may take some time.  Lets target Wed this week.

    Thanks,

    Youhao

  • Hi Yingchun,

Where did you purchase these parts?  Are you buying from TI directly of from  TI authorized distributors, or from some other sources which you doubt about the authentication?  The instruction that I got is, "TI will only support product verification requests from customers who purchase through authorized distributors.  All other verification requests must be worked through their supply chain."

Regarding the origin of country where the products were produced, it should be shown on the label.

    Thanks,

    Youhao

  • Dear   Youhao

These parts are from our customer's inventory. We want to know their origin.

    • We want to avoid Malaysian origin

Could you please help me verify them

     thank you   very   much

  • Hi Yingchun,

I wish I could help but like said TI does not offer such verification service if it is not purchased directly from TI or authorized distributors.  You may have to go through your customer's supply chain.

    Thanks,

    Youhao
