Hi Team,

Just want to double check, is TPS54325, TPS54425, TPS54525 and TPS54625 function equivalent and pin-compatible?

Customer is now using TPS54325 and TPS54425, but they need more current so want to consider TPS54625 if they are function equivalent and pin-compatible.

Hi Jo,

Sorry missed this one as was OoO. Yes they can use the TPS54625 instead. Please note the current limit is higher on the TPS54625 so size the inductor saturation current rating appropriately. Also, the FET resistances are different and this can lead to slight mismatches in the switching frequency but based on graphs in datasheet, the performance is almost identical.
