TPS65981EVM: SPI Flash Verification Failed

Hi,

I am trying to flash the on board flash memory of the TPS65981. I am able to erase the flash & enable the debug mode too. I am also able to see all the registers in the device (the MODE is blank).

Whenever I try to flash a firmware, the device erases the flash & programs it too but I get a flash verification error.

Let me know how I can get this done.

    Are you using an ARVARK to flash this device over SPI? 

    Also is this being done on an EVM?

    Hi Kevin,

    Thanks for your prompt response. No, I am not using an ARVARK device to flash over SPI. This is being done on an EVM.

    I have however resolved this issue. Along with the micro B USB cable attached to the EVM, I also had to provide power through the USB type C connector. Once I connected that, it started working & the flash was verified.
