Hi,

What is the PMID pin used for? Is it used as a voltage input? I couldn't understand the PMID pin.

Hi Eso18,

The PMID pin is the input to the converter. There is an input current sensing FET between VBUS and PMID. When in forward buck mode or reverse boost, it is the most noisy node of the converter.

I will use VBUS for the charge input, and it goes to PMID pin with Rsns resistor. Then I guess there is no need to use the PMID pin.

Hi eso18,

Even if not used as an input or output, the PMID pin must have the minimum recommended capacitance.
