Hello Hailee,
thanks for your quick response.
Can you please share how is it different?
BR,
Madhura
Hi Madhura,
For TPS92630-Q1, it use VSNS pin to monitor the voltage and compare for single LED short circuit detection.
For TPS92633-Q1,
it compares V(IREF) and V(IREF_SHORT_th) for IREF Short-to-GND detection.
it compares V(OUT) and V(SG_th_falling) for Short to GND detection.
it compare V(IN)-V(OUT) and V(OPEN_th_rising) or V(OUT) and V(SLS_th_falling) for Single LED short detection.
BR,
Hailee.
Hello Hailee,
Thanks for your response. But can you please check and confirm what will be driver state in case of RBIN is disconnected or SHORT to ground? LEDs will continue to glow with Random output current or it will switch OFF if Driver doesn’t detect RBIN value connected to REF pin of TPS92630-Q1?
Thanks!
Hi,
We have a new device TPS92633-Q1 may match better for your application for off-board binning.
