LM5025A: LM5025 family differentiation

Part Number: LM5025A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5025

Hello,

We have some shortages with LM5025CMTC and are conisdering posibility to switch to other variants of the LM5025 family where short term availability is better.

are the differences between the members of the LM5025(x) family only the amount of testing or actually in the production process?

Is it a part that is “Binned” to yield the A, B, and C grade and if A/B is not fully tested, is there a chance that it can be used in place of the LM5025CMTC?

Thanks a lot!

Regards

Alen

  • Hi,

LM5025, A, B, and C have each own specs and they are not "binned" but completely separated devices, although their core the same. The table gives their differences so unless you do not care the differences showing in the table, you cannot substitute another one to your current one.
