I don't see a TPS76201 EVM on the web.  How do I evaluate this IC?

    The TPS76201 does not have an EVM available.  There are two choices to evaluate the TPS76201 IC.  The first is to order the TPS76901EVM-127 and replace the IC with the TPS76201.  Both ICs are SOT-23 and are pin to pin compatible.  The second option is to order the DEM-SOT23LDO EVM.  This is a bare board that you can use to mount the IC and external components.  All boards and samples are available online.

    Also note that the TPS76201 requires an output capacitor with a specific amount of ESR.  It was designed specifically for tantalum output capacitors.  Newer LDOs that work well with ceramic output capacitors are much more popular and typically have better performance.  You can search for an LDO that meets your needs using the Power Quick Search Tool that can be found at http://focus.ti.com/analog/docs/powerhome.tsp?familyId=64&contentType=4&DCMP=TIHomeTracking&HQS=Other+OT+home_p_power
