Hi,
In an upcomming project i want to use the BQ24617RGER and use this for a 4 cell lio-ion (in serie) pack. I'm planning to make a circuit with power path something like 10.2 typical application.
As i went though the datasheet i couldn't find anything about balancing lio-ion cells.
Since i still want the cells to be balanced, my question is: can i put a balancing circuit parallel across the pack+ and pack- (see 10.2.1 datasheet)?
Let's say i use a bm3451 (P+P-) and put this across the pack+ and pack-.
I cannot for sure figure out myself how the circuits would behave or i might be completely off here.
