Hello,

a question regarding TPSM82864A / TPSM82866A.

Datasheet states for the VSET/MODE pin description: "... a low level selects power save mode operation.".

In fact it is: High-Level >>> Forced PWM Mode, Low-Level >>> Automatic Mode (either PWM or PSM, depending on load), right?

Hi,

Setting VSET/MODE to a logic high operates in forced PWM mode. Setting VSET/MODE to a logic low operates in power save mode at lower load currents and PWM mode at higher load currents.

yes, thanks. I have another question on the VSET/MODE pin leakage current while acting as digital (MODE) input. I will send a separate post.
