I have the LMR12010 on my board to provide 6.5V output at 8.5V to 16V input.
I am having troubles with the regulation of the circuit I am using. I initially configured the circuit to be the default typical application.
However, that did not work out for me and I destroyed several units. I currently have it configured as seen below:
I feel like this should be okay, since the unit is suppose to be regulating a constant 6.5V output. And falls within this parameter: "5.5V > Vboost-Vsw > 2.5V with a D3 of 2.4V… 6.5V output – 2.4V Zener = 4.1V
Changing the input voltage between 8.5V and 16V results in a change in the output voltage which means the circuit is not regulating.
I can provide component values where needed. Any assistance is appreciated.
