Hi expert,

I am wondering what is the expected result if the BQ7692006PWR CAP1 pin is floating, shorts to BAT, or shorts to GND?

    Hi Joe,

    For the CAP1 pin - all of these conditions will result in corrupted V/I/T measurements. Shorting to GND will result in device Shutdown and could cause damage. Shorting to BAT can also damage the IC.
