TPS563208: Isolated 5V output

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to use TPS563208 in an isolated output configuration?

I am planing to use a coupled inductor instead of a single inductor and create an isolated secondary side where input voltage is 14V and isolated output will be 5V.

Will there be any problems in this configuration?

Hi Savas,

It is better to refer to flybuck topology for your proposed design. TPS563208 could be used for such design.

Hi Zixu,

Thank you for your response but unfortunately there is no stock option for TPS54308.

Could you please clarify if TPS563208 can be used or not for a flybuck design? Since it's operation is in FPWM and CCM mode.
