BQ24770: About /BATPRES pin and register value modifying operation

Hello E2E,

Please let me know about /BATPRES pin status and register modifying for BQ24700.
Our customer tried to modifying operation to the MaxChargeVoltage() register, as long as /BATPRES remained high, the register remained at its default value.
When /BATPRES was low, the register was allowed for modification operations.

When the /BATPRES still high, is this device can accept to register modifying operation to the MaxChargeVoltage()?

    Hi ACGUY,

    When BATPRES pin is pulled to HIGH, bq2477x resets "LEARN Enable" (ChargeOption0() bit[5]) and IDPM_EN (ChargeOption() bit[1]), and reset MaxChargeVoltage() and  ChargeCurrent().

    With no battery present the System is regulated at MaxChargeVoltage (there is a default value based on CELL configuration). The host should be able to write the MinSystemVoltage if that needs to change with no battery present. The MaxChargeVoltage can be modified after the BATPRES goes low (Battery is present).
