LMZ10501: Device Top Marking Different From Datasheet

Hi,

My customer observed markings on the lower side of the PCB for this part LMZ10501SILR listed "0501 9811 DG", ONLY missing "501" according to the datasheet.

They are curious to see if this is the correct marking without 501:

Normally, the device marking in the datasheet would fully list on the device top and so this part is slightly different from experiences.

There is no other particular concerns other than the marking.

Hi Miranda,

I checked internally regarding the marking and what you see on the device package is correct. '0501 9811 DG' corresponds to the device marking and is at the bottom row. On the top row, the first 3 characters correspond to the year, month, day date code and the next 2 correspond to the time code and the last one to the assembly site.

The '501' is not park of the marking.

Hi Varun, truly appreciate your feedback on the marking! That helps a lot.

This is just my curiosity. Does 501 have any meanings or representations? Not sure why it was listed under device marking in the datasheet.
