LMR16006: Higher ripple than expected in ECO mode

Part Number: LMR16006

Hi,

I've been testing the LMR16006X and I realized that my load current will be very small (~0.2A) which will put the device into ECO mode. Is there a way to figure out what the expected switching frequency it will be? This will help me design for the ripple at the output.

Regards,

Jerome

  • Hi Jerome,

It's better to test the Fsw directly on your application circuit.

Pls use ceramic cap on output for lower output ripple, you also add Cff (start from 100pF level) parallel on high side Feedback resistor to reduce the output ripple.
