Hi Team,
What's the difference of SVID and I2C?
Is SVID faster? What is the significance of the existence of SVID? Thanks.
Regards, Charlie

Hey Charlie,
SVID is a protocol developed by intel to streamline communications between their devices and voltage regulators. SVID is needed for Intel VR12, VR 12.5, VR13, VR14, IMPVP8 designs. It is separate from I2C. SVID and I2C are both limited by device clock speeds. Unless you are using an Intel design, I believe you'll want to go with I2C for your application as there is more documentation for it.
Thanks,
Caleb
