Hi Oden,
Can you elaborate what do you mean by updating firmware? Are you referring to the PD binary configuration or the Patch firmware update?
Both of these can be found and applied using the Thunderbolt Application Customization Tool version 6.3.4, where the most up to date patch firmware base is F907.14.10.

Hi Raymond,
We want to update firmware without any external fixture(USB to I2C adaptor) on Windows.
Is it possibile to do it by using Thunderbolt Application Customization Tool?
BR,
Oden
Hi Oden,
The Application Customization Tool is needed in order to change the configuration of our PD controllers, such as Source/Sink PDOs, capabilities, Alternate Modes, etc. You can then use the tool to either directly flash the EEPROM connected to the PD or generate a full-flash binary to load onto an EC.
Here is a link to a quick tutorial on how to configure our PD controllers using the GUI: https://training.ti.com/tps65987evm-and-usb-c-pd-duo-evm-tutorial?context=1140344-1140343
The Thunderbolt GUI is similar to this with additional features to support Thunderbolt settings.
Thanks and Regards,
Raymond Lin
