Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM2434,
Considering using the DP87334 device, which is pre-configured for the Sitara AM2434 SoC. I do not want to have to program/configure it to modify the default settings if possible.
The DP8733x datasheet refers to using the switching converters in parallel, but doesn't mention using the LDOs in parallel.
Q1. If set to the same voltage (1.8V), can the LDO outputs be connected together?
Q2. With Reference to App Note TIDUCS7, are ballast resistors necessary on the outputs?
Q3. If necessary, is there a recommended value of ballast resistor for paralleling 1.8V outputs on this device to minimise voltage drop?
