Hi Team,

Our customer would like to confirm if they can use the TLV766-Q1 as a constant current driver like LM317. Aside from the Output Pulldown function, the internal configuration of the TLV766-Q1 is similar to that of LM317. Can they use the TLV766-Q1 as constant current driver if they will configure the device as shown below.

    Hi Danilo,

    I think any LDO could be used like this, assuming there is sufficient headroom, and also assuming that the constant current is at least the same as the GND current from the device (which is small in modern devices so this requirement is easy to meet).
