Hi,

I am confused by the plots from Figure 15 to Figure 18 in the datasheet. What is the difference between Figure 15/16 and Figure 17/18?

 

Is it possible to calculate the loop bandwidth of TPS7A81 when its output voltage is 5V and output capacitance is 10uF?

    Hi Ryan,

    In datasheet revision A (the previous revision), the figures corresponding to Figures 17 and 18 in Rev B have COUT = 100uF. It looks like there was an error in translating the document into the newer system. 

    As far as the bandwidth calculation question, there's not really a way to calculate it. The PSRR plots kind of hint at it but it's a pretty rough estimate to pull it from the plots. Normally the bandwidth of LDOs is around the 100kHz ~ 300kHz range, and the PSRR plots show a very similar range.
