Hi,

Please refer to the following app note (https://www.ti.com/lit/an/snvaa31/snvaa31.pdf) to help understand how to create a universal schematic to accomodate LM614x0 and LM62440 device.

Note the primary differences in device pinout between LM614x0 and LM62440 device.

Also, given that LM62440 is operating with internal fixed frequency of 2.1MHz, the LM614x0 schematic design should have a RT resistor value that equates to 2.1MHz.

If we only take the LM61440 into consideration, is the schematic suitable for application?

Hi,

In the case of using LM61440, yes the schematic should be applicable for a 2.2MHz|4A application.
