Hi team,

I am designing LM25149 dual phase circuit. Could you please help answer my questions below?

 

#1. When Active EMI filter is not in use, how should I terminate them? NC is OK?

 

#2. RRT=9.52kohm Switching frequency 2 doesn’t match Equation (3) below.

The typical frequency should be 2.1MHz at RRT=9.52kohm.

Could you please confirm?

   

#3. I cannot use high resistance like 100kohm for pull up due to condensation risk.

Pull up of EXTCOMP(5pin) and PG pull up can be 10kohm?

How much is the minimum value?

#4. Detail behavior of adaptive dead-time methodology to prevent cross conduction.

    1: NC is OK for AEF pins yes.

    2: Are you using the latest version of the datasheet? The latest LM25149 datasheet is updated to 9.09kΩ to be closer 2.2MHz. 9.53kΩ is closer to 2.1MHz.

    3:10kΩ pullups should be OK yes.

    4:The adaptive deadtime waits for SW node to fall to 0V before turning on the HS or LS FET, you can see the LS body diode conduction in the SW node waveforms in the datasheet.
