Please let me know, How to disable this Overcurrent Fault feature?

Regards

Murthy

  • Hi Murthy,

In case you want to disable the over current protection, you can use a very high value of Rsense such that the minimum Worst-case overcurrent threshold is higher than the peak load current that can occur in your system.

For example, you can see in the design calculator snapshot below, For Rdson = 5.4mohms, setting Rsense at 500 kohms sets the minimum Worst-case overcurrent threshold as high as 844A.
