LM25037: PMP7797 Reference Design Removed from TI.com

Part Number: LM25037

Hi team,

I see reference online to a PMP7797 reference design that was a 6V-42V Input 12V/5A SEPIC for Automotive Applications. I don't see this on ti.com anymore, so I assume it was removed.

Was there a reason this design isn't available anymore?

Would we be able to still get the schematics - understanding whatever reason above it was removed and that we won't be supporting the design moving forward? It seemed it was able to support an interleaved boost configuration, which is interesting and I'd like to see that.

Thanks,

Jacob

  • Jacob,

Could be for any of the reasons you mentioned or simply that TI is no longer promoting the device as it is shown in the PMP7797 reference design? PMP7797 is a legacy design from back in the National Semi days before TI acquired them so maybe the design was not translated from National design files/support to TI but the documentation where you see PMP7797 referenced was fully converted to TI? In any case, below are the supporting documents I hope will help.

    Regards,

    Steve
