Dear Sir

I use UCD90124A monitor voltage & fan control in my system.

I have a question, I lead ucd i2c adress is 0x34, and I detect all my i2c bus it will occur hardwave error, like dowm page.

I've already check my UCD I2C waveform. It is good.

I suspect is ucd fw design question, but I've no idea, attach my schematic and my FW.

Hope get your advice, Thanks a lot.

P.S. please ignore schematic top right rail and enable. And GPIO 9/10/15/16/17/18/19/20 is not function.

UCD90124A does not support the following command protocol.

I2C_ADDRESS + W/R + STOP Bit

I suspected that I2C detect is only to send out address with stop bit. Please skip the UCD address when using i2Cdetect .

But we use BMC host can detect 0x34 not issue, only change to SMB_HOST detect ucd will occur error....

And I've 11 sample, only 2 have this question.

I've another information share to you.

My another one case use UCD9090, I've detect it will hide 0x34, I need write i2cdetect -y -q 0 just can see 0x34, this device doesn't see i2cdetect broken system issue.

Can you tell me how to do the same setting in my UCD90124 case?

As said, I2C_ADDRESS + W/R + STOP Bit is not supported.

Device may or may not response this command.

Do not use this protocol.

I know it maybe not response lead I2C broken.

So I want know how can I setting like UCD9090 case, hide UCD in I2C bus, let we only just do read/write?

It is can be setting in Fw or HW?

UCD9090 and UCD90124A has the same I2C function. I am not quite sure what your question is.

You have to consult the Linux kernel driver to see how to skip the UCD address by I2CDetect.

This is not something that slave can control.
