Hi team,
Customer is asking about for example 27kohm is allowed which is out side of E96, how this impact?
Best regards, ny

Hi NY,
If using a resistance outside of E96 you may select the wrong setting from the MODE/S-Config table. We recommend using 1% and 200ppm/C or better to ensure the correct mode is selected.
Thanks,
Joseph
Since 27kohm is a standard 5% value there may be too much tolerance in the resistance to cause a different mode to be selected.
We recommend using a 1% 27.4kOhm resistor.
Thanks,
Joseph
Hi Joseph, sorry for additional confirmation, if 1% 27kohm, is it acceptable?
Hi Joseph, sorry for additional confirmation, if 1% 27kohm, is it acceptable?
Hi NY,
To ensure the correct mode is selected we still recommend using 1% E96 resistors of the values listed in the datasheet table for Smart Configuration.
If these values aren't used, then the customer should verify it for their application, as 27k 1% is not a standard 1% value we have available to test.
Thanks,
Joseph
